For several weeks after the Final Open House (7/1-2/06), we proceeded to remove the equipment and sold some and stored some. This was to be the last time I was to visit the old brewing space. The 2 large fermenters were sold to Union Barrel Works, a new brewpub in Reamstown, PA. The pictures of us loading them onto the flatbed are included here.
We spent the rest of the day moving the small stuff to the storage facility. The next week, Tom and crew moved the brewing equipment to its temporary home.
After more than 4 years of visiting HW on a regular basis, it was an emotional day!
